We have been in the hospitality industry for 20 years doing weddings, conferences, events, gala dinners and outside functions but we have specialised in weddings for the past 4 years. Kerry Nicholson is the owner of Perfectly Planned Events and she has worked in 5 star hotels as a Banqueting Manager and was a partner of a catering company for 8 years specialising in outside functions and events. In addition to this, Kerry has also worked in the incentive travel industry so her experience is varied, diverse and encompassed all aspects of events from the initial client meeting, co-ordinating weddings and being on site for the bridal couple’s special day to oversee all aspects of the day run smoothly and ensures a Perfectly Planned Event.
Perfectly Planned Events is the preferred supplier to five upmarket wedding venues on the North Coast. The venues we work with are Braeside, Eagles Cry, Canelands Beach Club and Spa, Olwandle Estate and Valley Villa. Although we do work at other wedding venues in and around Durban, most of our clients opt for the beautiful North coast for their special day.
Perfectly Planned Events offers a free service of sourcing a venue for your special day from our portfolio of venues which we represent. Perfectly Planned Event will work with the wedding couples until the venue is confirmed and the relevant deposits have been paid to the venue. At this point, it is up to the bridal couples to decide whether they will retain Perfectly Planned Events to co-ordinate their day. We offer two options, namely co-ordination up and until the wedding day and depending on the venue selected, this ranges from R7500.00 to R10000.00. We also manage and oversee the weddings on the day and this gives the bridal couple piece of mind that their function will run smoothly and they can relax, sit back and enjoy every minute of their big day. The cost of on the day co-ordination is from R2500.00 to R5000.00 depending on the venue chosen.
Perfectly Planned Events does not mark up the prices of the wedding packages on offer from the venues in our portfolio. We believe it is essential to be transparent in all our dealings and we are paid a commission by our relevant venues. The only additional cost to the bridal couple will be if they opt to have their wedding co-ordinated by Perfectly Planned Events. Most of the venues do have their own co-ordination staff so this is a personal choice, which we leave up to the bridal couple to make.

We are meticulous in the planning process and this ensures that all the arrangements for the wedding run to plan.
